The Community Service Program aims to divert juveniles from secure detention, to make each child responsible and accountable for his/her behavior and to provide a valuable service to the community for which a young person can be proud. Additionally, each child receives instruction in a variety of valuable social and vocational skills necessary for his or her normal growth and development. The program’s primary goal focuses on the rehabilitation and return of each child to his home and community as a productive, socially well-adjusted contributor.
